PARES is a consulting firm which focus on strategic planning and participatory methodologies in order to optimize results in all three dimensions of sustainability: economic, social and environmental ones. This is achieved through stakeholders' engagement in the organizational strategy, contemplating intersectoral alliances and networks and, therefore, enhancing innovation.
PARES is a Latin word, that in Portuguese is also one of the possible translations for stakeholders. PARES letters, in English as well as in Portuguese, stand for Planning, Articulation, Responsiveness, Entrepreneurship and Sustainability, key elements of the cycle of sustainable development.
The proposed work of PARES is to complement the performance of organizations through management tools into three sections:
Why Sustainable Results?
As defined in 1987 by the World Commission on Environment and Development, which became known as the Brundtland Commission, sustainable development "meets current needs without compromising the ability of future generations to meet theirs." In practical terms, this means striving not only for economic but also for social and environmental results in the long term. Those can be achieved in an integrated manner when inserted into the construction of the vision of future for an organization and, afterwards, into goal setting and alignment. Through dialogue and engagement of internal and external stakeholders, we seek for sustainable solutions for the critical points of each organization.
PARES has a network of professionals with academic and professional experience in the areas of strategic planning, management of corporate responsibility, sustainability and the third sector.
